Bombay Chaat House, also known as Indian Chaat House, is one of Portland's favorite destinations for tasty, authentic Indian food. Our menu is extensive and includes many traditional favorites as well as some harder-to-find dishes.
We take pride in our use of the best quality, hand-ground Indian spices and in the freshness of all of our ingredients. BCH is located in Downtown Portland, on South West 12th and Yamhill St. It's just two blocks from Multnomah County Library. You will enjoy our attentive service almost as much as our tantalizing menu.

Appetizers 01. Vegetable Samosa: Deep fried crisp pastry filled with mixed vegetables (potatoes, onions and other seasonal vegetables).
02. Vegetable Pakora: Fresh peas and potatoes prepared with Indian spices and a touch of ginger flavor. Tandoori Breads
Our specialty breads are handmade to order, made of imported flour cooked in a Tandoori clay oven, giving a distinctive full-bodied flavor. 03. Naan (plain): Leavened white bread of fine flour, individually baked in a Tandoori oven.
04. Garlic Naan: Individual servings baked in Tandoori oven, giving a soft crispness. Flavored with fresh chopped garlic.
05. Pishwari Naan: Bread filled with almonds, pistachios, raisins & cashews baked in Tandoori oven.
06. Aloo Kulcha: Leavened bread made with a filling of spiced potatoes and baked in Tandoori oven. Basmati Rice Dishes
Basmati is a special long grain rice imported from India. 07. Plain Rice: Naturally flavored aromatic rice slightly seasoned.
08. Rice Pilau: Our specialty rice prepared with green peas and spices.

14. Aloo Gobi: Potatoes & cauliflower cooked with special spices.
15. Navratan Korma: A traditional merging of nine kinds of vegetables prepared with raisins & nuts in a creamy sauce. cooked in creamy sauce.
16. Mutter Paneer: Fresh garden peas cooked with Indian cheese and spices.
17. Aloo Mutter: Fresh green peas cooked in a delicately spiced sauce with potato.
18. Dal Tarka: Dark lentils slow cooked and flavored with our special blend of spices.
19. Shahi Paneer: Handmade Indian cheese prepared with raisins and nuts simmered in a creamy sauce

26. Samosa-Chaat: Samosa pieces, mint sauce, homemade yogurt, garbanzo beans, onions and spices.
27. Dahi-Vada: Badaas (Lentil bean flour, salt, and spices, made into a batter and then fried), Indian spices and yogurt.
28. Channa-Bhature: Garbanzo beans and onions with two fried breads and spices.
29 Channa-Samosa: Garbanzo beans, onions, samosas, spices.
30. Aloo-Tikki Channa: Garbanzo beans, onions, spices, special fried potato tikki, yogurt.
31. Bahle-Poori: Popped rice, tamarind & mint sauces, potatoes, onions, spices.
32 Batata-Vada: Fried potato balls & special Indian spices (tamarind, mint sauce).
33. Raita: Homemade yogurt, cucumbers, carrots and spices.
34. Sev-Poori: Indian noodles, tamarind and mint sauces, homemade yogurt, garbanzo beans and onions.
